Minnesota and snow

Yesterday the kids went out to play on a snow hill that is taking up the visitor's parking spaces across from our home. Today the entire hill is GONE. They came in the middle of the night and removed it(didn't get any sleep from 1:30-3:30a.m). It's been there for almost 2 weeks. Not sure why it took this long to get rid of it. Glad they got to go on it though before it disappeared. I was starting to feel a bit claustrophobic with it there. It's so open and spacious now. I'll have to take another picture of it now.

End of summer Tea Party

Three lovely ladies from church came over for lunch and tea with me and Morgen. We had a wonderful visit. The boys enjoyed their lunch on the little table in the kitchen. I would have put them with us at the table but they also had their friend over. We enjoyed delicious homemade cinnamon chip scones after we had beautiful butterfly shaped sandwiches.

Morgen got to go to Art Class last week everyday for 4 hours! She loved it!

Housewarming Party

Tonight we hosted a housewarming party. It was fun prepping and then entertaining. Morgen and Carsten enjoyed showing their teachers their bedrooms. They were great tour guides. Plenty of food, so it was nice to put some in the freezer for another time. I guess we'll just have to have more company.
